Emergency appeal for Tonga tsunami assistance
Tsunami has left many without food, shelter, power or drinking water - lets get behind the people of Tonga and help them rebuild their lives!
By now you would have heard of the devastation that has occurred in the Kingdom of Tonga. A large volcanic eruption has caused a tsunami wave, that has left many without food, shelter, power or drinking water.
Due to power outages and no connection, we are yet to receive word from our partners at the Tongan National Youth Congress (TNYC) and how we can best help them. As the situation develops and more information is sent to us, can I please urgently request that as avid supporters of International Needs, that you stand with our team and pray for the plight of those that have been affected by this destructive force of nature.
International Needs is standing ready to provide support after the volcanic eruption and tsumani. As we hear and gather more information from them, we will continue to keep you informed.
