Violah lives with her mother, father, two brothers and five sisters in a brick house. She likes to help at home by collecting water from the local well.
Her father works as a farmer and her mother is a peasant. Their source of income is unstable.
Violah is in primary 2 and her favourite subject is mathematics. She lives approximately one kilometre from the school.
