Amina’s Story: Sleeping Without Fear
“My name is Amina, and I am nine months pregnant. I live in Sector 11, near the quarry, where the nights are long and restless because of mosquitoes. Before receiving a mosquito net, I slept in constant fear — every mosquito bite reminded me of the risks to my baby and myself. Some nights, I barely slept at all, worrying about what could happen.
But everything changed when I received a mosquito net from INBF, with the generous support of INNZ. I learned how to set it up properly and care for it, and now I can sleep through the night without fear.
I feel protected, reassured, and hopeful, knowing that my baby and I are safer from malaria. This gift is more than just a net — it is a symbol of care and solidarity. It made me feel seen and supported, especially during the Christmas season, a time when family and hope are so important.
