Partnering with Local Leaders
International Needs supports over 150 national workers and pastors around the world through the International Needs Pastor Sponsorship Programme.
Everyday New Zealanders have the unique opportunity to partner with local indigenous leaders to equip them in their ministries for the Lord.
Inspired by the love of Jesus Christ, International Needs was founded 51 years ago with the vision to support indigenous leaders to spread the gospel in their nation. With their knowledge of local areas, languages and cultures these leaders are highly effective in making disciples in their nation.
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” – Matthew 28: 19-20
Pastor Tayo’s Story
One of these leaders is Pastor Tayo who resides in Goroka, Papua New Guinea.
Pastor Tayo shares the impact Pastor sponsorship has had on his ministry:
“I just want to take this moment again to fully appreciate my faithful sponsors for their prayers, times and the donations made all of this year 2024 up until now. If that wasn’t by your supports, I don’t think all my pastoral ministry might reach that climax. Thank God for that. I pray that our heavenly father would kindly and abundantly bless you all. Finally, but not the least to all the International Needs Organization for such a worldwide organization to become a possible vehicle to enhance the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ to a perishing world.”
Pastor Tayo is an ambassador for Christ in his church, community and beyond. With his motorbike donated by International Needs Pastor Tayo is reaching out to rural communities in Papua New Guinea with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
