Shuvarani

Shuvarani has an older brother and an older sister. Her father is a Jum Cultivator (a special type of tribal cultivation), and her mother is a housewife. The family live in a one room hut made of bamboo, wood and iron sheets. They access drinkable water from their local well. They live in the hilly area of Bandarban which is difficult to cultivate, so their income is very little. Bandarban area is 650 kilometres away from Savar Children’s Village.
Shuvarani needs support so she can continue to stay at the school. She likes to clean the school classroom with her friends and she also likes to dance.
She is in Grade One and her favourite subject is General Knowledge.
