Dreaming of becoming a Nutrition Officer
Barbara is very excited to begin University
Barbara Dordzi is a recent Senior School graduate. She has successfully completed Grade 12 and has received excellent grades in her West African Senior School Certification Examination. She believes that the International Needs Child Assistance Program has helped her immensely in achieving this. Barbara was a student at Amrahia Community School, which has an active partnership with International Needs. This partnership helped Barbara through school and allowed her to participate in extra-curricular activities. She feels especially thankful for these activities because they allowed her to avoid bad company, and helped her to become responsible and confident. She was spotted by the International Needs Child Assistance Program for her impressive academic performance. Barbara has a strong passion for promoting a better lifestyle through healthy eating and hopes to become a Nutrition Officer in the future. She is currently preparing herself for tertiary education: “Next year I know I can further my education to the university to learn more about food and its effect on our wellbeing.” Barbara is very excited to begin University, and hopes that it will give her the skills to turn her dream of becoming a Nutrition Officer into reality!
