Avoiding homelessness

Poverty is widespread in Egypt. In one of the poorest areas of Cairo, a lady is struggling. Her husband was an abusive drug addict who eventually left her to raise their four children on her own. She has no money to support the children’s basic needs. She used to work as a house cleaner, but the COVID-19 pandemic made many clients refuse her services. This caused her to struggle, and sometimes she could not provide food for her children. Finally, International Needs turned her life around. The International Needs office provides her with food and money so that her family can remain happy and healthy. International Needs is also helping her husband to find a drug rehabilitation program, so that he can eventually return to the family as a happy and healthy father. Without the help of International Needs, this family would have ended up homeless. Their lives have been changed forever.
